ADVANCED COMPOUNDING SYSTEMS

Adell's facilities contain a complete range of extrusion systems, all designed to perform highly specialized compounding operations.  These systems include Werner & Pfleiderer twin-screw compounding extruders with versatile processing capabilities.   Twin-screw machines provide optimal control over the mixing process.   Individual screw segments and barrel sections can readily be interchanged to accommodate the exact mixing and shear conditions required for processing a particular formulation.
Adell's advanced instrumentation maintains precise computerized control over feeders, extruder temperature and rate, and other parameters of processing.  These capabilities allow Adell to Reproduce product with precise consistency day after day.

Pelletizing may be accomplished by stranding, dicing, hot-face cutting, water ring pelletizing and underwater pelletizing.  Adell utilizes a stainless cooling belt for processing moisture sensitive materials.  Adell has capabilities to dry both raw materials and finished product.
